Kamp KACE (Kids Against Cancer Everywhere), one of 94 camps that received funding from KOA Care Camps in 2014, plans to build a memorial garden in spring 2015.
The memorial garden is a special place for kids with cancer, their siblings and parents to visit and remember young friends who have passed away.
Funding support for the garden has been provided through the KOA Care Camps capital grant program.
Kamp KACE, founded in 1986, is held at the YMCA’s Camp Cormorant just south of Lake Park, MN, and east of Fargo, ND. It accommodates about 100 campers.
