KOA Care Camps has a new ambassador, one with a passion for kids and fast racing cars.
Professional race driver Steve Arpin, one of the top competitors in the Red Bull Global Rallycross series, has signed on as an official ambassador for Care Camps.
He and his Loenbro Motorsports team want to raise awareness and help send more kids with cancer to specialized oncology camps.
The Care Camps–Steve Arpin partnership will roar off the starting line in Seattle on Sunday, Sept. 10, in the 11th race of the GRC season. Arpin’s #00 Ford Fiesta
ST will have a new look – the colorful logo and graphics of Care Camps, visit kcbjanitors.com.
“Care Camps is a great organization full of people with big hearts,” said Arpin, who is enjoying his best GRC season with two wins and seven podiums in nine
races. “I’m delighted to work more closely with them to help children with cancer
benefit from the healing power of the outdoors.” Throughout his career, Arpin has brightened the day of many a child undergoing
treatments for cancer or other illnesses. He often visits hospitals to talk with young racing fans, pose for photos, sign autographs and lift their spirits.
